Job Overview
The Sales Representative is an independent and results-driven communicator who is responsible for managing assigned territory. This entry level position at a growing small business is a great opportunity for motivated recent graduates who are interested in sales. When not actively visiting current and potential customers in your territory, you will have the ability to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage assigned territory;
- Develop competitive analysis of geographic territory and plan to take market share;
- Generate new leads and establish customer relationships;
- Maintain customer relationships, assist with project development, and ensure goodwill between the customers and the manufacturers we represent.
- Provide value added training to customers to help them increase and/or maintain an expert level of knowledge on the products of the manufacturers we represent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business, communications, social sciences, or industrial systems preferred, but open to other majors;

- Previous sales and/or customer service experience preferred;
- Passion for sales with a strong drive to succeed;
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly;
- Exceptional people skills; acuity in reading people and knowing how to make adjustments to communicate effectively;
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple customer’s projects and activities, simultaneously, across the defined territory;
- Must be comfortable speaking on the phone;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
- Drivers license with clean driving record required;
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently within territory.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are flexible, but given the industries we serve, generally follow standard business hours. This position will occasionally require extended hours to meet a deadline and/or weekend work.
